The Evaluation methodology of the programs includes a combination of assignments, examinations and project report.
Each subject usually comprises of an Assignment (30 marks) and a Computer Based Examination (70 marks). To be declared ‘Pass’ in the respective subjects, the student is required to appear for both the components and secure a minimum of 50 marks on an aggregate basis.
Assignments are case-based and application-oriented, both components are required to be submitted online. Examinations include both objectives as well as application-oriented components.
In addition, Post Graduate Diploma students are required to submit a project report of 100 marks.
The pattern of the question paper is composite where 50 marks are reserved for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and the remaining 20 Marks are reserved for Two Descriptive questions of 10 Marks each
